Stellar Autoworks is an independently-owned, full service auto maintenance and repair shop serving Minnesota’s Twin Cities metro area.

Tires, brakes, A/C, alignment, transmission, engine replacement…if it’s general repair work, you name it, we do it. We prefer to collaborate on a preventative maintenance plan to help you avoid those more costly repairs…but, we know the unexpected happens and, when they do, we can get you back on the road in no time.

Complimentary Pickup, Delivery & Loaners
One of our most beloved services is also our founding convenience! A decade before “contactless” was a trending necessity, Stellar Autoworks has offered to pick up your vehicle from home or work, deliver it back when services are complete, AND leave you a courtesy car to drive in the meantime. All for free. We’ll keep in touch along the way with a phone call or text, sending you photos, explanations and estimates you can review when it works for you.

Drop & Go
Everyone knows this one- just bring us your vehicle and leave it in our care while you go live your life. We’ll keep in touch with updates, options and estimates before starting on any billable work.
We’re open 8-5 Monday through Friday, but don’t worry- we have a secure afterhours dropbox to leave your keys 24/7, and lockboxes to pick up your keys 24/7 when your car is ready.
Wait at Stellar
If you’re scheduling a brief service like an oil change, tire rotation or inspection, it may make more sense to wait here while we work on your vehicle.
The Stellar lounge spaces include:
- wi-fi, espresso & soft drinks
- popcorn (seasonal)
- family room with coloring books & toys
- unisex restroom
- witty banter from your Stellar Service Advisors (on occasion)
We reserve a technician and space in the shop especially for your waiting appointment.
To reduce your wait time, please be on time and let us know if your plans change.
I’ll Need a Ride
Yeah, you can get the car here…but, then what?
If you need a ride, we can give you a ride, and can pick you up later.
There may be small talk involved.
There may be awkward silences.
Or, there may be profound nuggets of wisdom and delight! And, either way, you’ll get to where you need to be without worrying about how to get there.
If you’re on the fence about whether you’ll need a ride or not, schedule I’ll Need a Ride to be safe, so we can have a Stellar car and a Stellar team member available for you.
I’ll Need a Loaner Car

Sometimes, you just can’t be without a vehicle. We understand, which is why we’ve offered complimentary use of a Stellar loaner car while your own vehicle is in our shop.
Loaner cars are available by advanced reservation, and at no additional charge. All we ask is that you replace the fuel spent during your use.
- Available for drivers age 21+
- We must have valid Driver’s License and current (non-expired) Insurance on file prior to lending
- One authorized driver per reservation
Pickup & Delivery: our Concierge Door to Door Service

This complimentary car pickup and delivery service is a contactless solution pioneered over a decade before contactless was in demand.
We will come pick up your car. For free!
(And, bring it back to you!)
This is a great solution for anybody who would rather not leave home or work to bring their vehicle to our shop.
A loaner car will be left for your use in the meantime.
Here’s how it works:
- Complete a Loaner Form Agreement
- Expect a call between 9am-11am from our driver for pickup
- Exchange keys upon arrival (in person…or not!)
- Pay via text/email invoice & Replace any gas you use in the loaner car
- Return delivery will happen mornings 9am-11am or afternoons 1pm-3pm
