PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Keeping your Twin Cities vehicle in good condition

(And, keeping costs down in the meantime.)

Welcome to car care in Minnesota!

Preventative Maintenance

“Prevention is the best medicine.”

It is known.

Preventative Maintenance

Preventative maintenance for your car begins with and oil change and checkup at least twice a year, whether the car sits or travels many miles. Like a routine physical at the doctor, these visits to your mechanic are the simplest and least expensive ways to keep your car in it’s healthiest condition, preventing (expensive) problems before they begin.

At these checkups, we can advise you on the manufacturer’s suggested care by mileage, seasonal preparedness for our Minnesota weather and more, working to fit car care in to your lifestyle and priorities.

Preventative Vehicle Maintenance can include:

  • Car Washes
  • Coolant Flush
  • Differential Fluid Flush
  • Transfer Case Fluid Flush
  • Transmission Fluid/Filter
  • Fuel Filter if applicable
    and more
Seasonal Preparations

“Cold enough for ya?”
“It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity!”

-Minnesotans

Seasonal Preparations

Welcome to Minnesota, land of extremes.

Our sub-zero temps, hot, humid summers, ice, salt and rust make for interesting- and sometimes challenging- effects on the vehicles we rely on.  Like swapping out your boots and parka for sandals and a swimsuit, sometimes just a little preparedness can make your journey a lot more comfortable- and safe.

Seasonal Preparations can include:

Spring/Summer

  • Seasonal Tire Swap
switch to Summer or All-Season tires
  • Wiper Blades
  • A/C Checkup
  • Oil Change

Fall/Winter

  • Seasonal Tire Swap
    switch to Winter tires
  • Antifreeze Checkup
  • Exterior Lighting Checkup
  • Oil Change
    and more
Scheduled Updates

“These cars are meant to be driven,
so enjoy the hell out of all of it…”

– Caroll Shelby

Scheduled Updates

Wear and tear happens with use.  It’s completely normal, and most cars will need these updates at some point down the road.  But, fret not: these maintenance items usually come with warning signs.  Many of these updates are even suggested by the vehicle manufacturer at planned mileage intervals.

We’re watching for these mileage intervals and warning signs for you- you’re welcome!- and will include any recommended services in your notes (with prices!) when you visit.  Our Technicians are vigilant and our Service Advisors are here to guide you through scheduled updates according to your lifestyle and priorities…so you can just enjoy the ride.

Scheduled Updates can include:

  • Brake Pads & Rotors
    (or drums and shoes)
  • Struts/Shocks
  • Control Arms and/or Ball Joints
  • Headlights/Exterior Lights
  • Tires
  • Battery
  • Clutch (if applicable)
  • Drive Belts(s)
  • Axel Boots
  • Motor Mounts
  • Exhaust
  • Throttle Body Cleaning
    or Replacement
    and more
